Sample Output from GPS-Photo Link

We visited downtown Denver and took some pictures with the a GPS enabled camera, the Ricoh 500SE. Next we used GPS-Photo Link to process the geotagged photos. The software can also link any digital camera to a gps receiver. Below are different types of output created by GPS-Photo Link.

Watermarked Photo

Web pages: See an overview map along with several linked photos and their maps. Note the attribute data at the bottom of the screen under each photo.

Google Earth file: Click here to launch the Google Earth and show these photos. If you have not previously downloaded Google Earth, click here.

Try GPS-Photo Link yourself for free! Download the Trial version and use with your own camera/GPS or use our sample data. Once you download the software, check out the training videos and quickstart guides; you'll be processing photos in minutes!

Instructions for using sample data: First, create a new folder on your hard drive and copy the files in this folder to your new folder.  Make sure you write down and remember the path that you create for the new folder.  Once you have downloaded the trial software run GPS-Photo Link. On the first screen select "Any Folder" for the Photo Source. Next browse to the folder you created. The second screen will ask where the GPS data comes from. For this sample select "Use GPS data in Photo or Manually enter lat/lon". Continue stepping through GPS-Photo Link making sure to select the types of output you want. Use the Help button on the left if needed.
