The new GPS-Photo Link 5.1 has the ability to create multiple templates for data processing and report generation. Designed to simplify project management, the new functionality allows users to set up standardized processing parameters and output specifications in a template. Saved templates can be emailed to field crews who can just select the template, choose the photos to process and then hit one button to create consistent photo mapping reports and output.
A few other 5.1 highlights include the ability to use ArcGIS server and Google Terrain background maps in reports, new map caching that allows the reports to be created more quickly than ever, and increased flexibility in formatting PDF and Word reports. On the input side, the software can now process RAW and TIFF photo formats. See a full list of enhancements.
Use GPS-Photo Link with the Ricoh G700SE, Nikon AW100, Sony HX7V, iOS smartphone running GeoJot or to link any digital camera with a separate GPS.
