Using HTML Templates

User customizable web page templates

Web page output can now be completely customized.

Select "Use web page file templates" on the File Output screen.

If not selected, program uses its own internal template.

Tags in the HTML file specify where information is written. Just place a tag in the HTML file where you want the information to appear.

Create web pages in any language - just translate the standard template.

Change the background and text colors.

Add logos and project specific information.

Edit the template pages in any HTML editor or Notepad.

The files are located in the installation directory for GPS-Photo Link, usually C:\Program Files\GPS-Photo Link

%GPL_ORIG_PHOTO% = Filename of Original Photo (P0002322.JPG)
%GPL_PHOTO_THUMB% = Filename of photo thumbnail
%GPL_PHOTO_LINK% = Either original photo name (P0002322.JPG) or watermarked file (P0002322_tag.jpg) depending on user selection
%GPL_PHOTO_HTML% = Filename of the photo HTML file (P0002322_tag.htm)
%GPL_PHOTO_NUMBER% = Photo index number (appears on overview maps and index list)
%GPL_MAP1% = Internet map 1, either from Tiger or MapBlast, depending on user selection. Can also download map images to local file.
%GPL_MAP2% = Internet map 2, either from Tiger or MapBlast, depending on user selection. Can also download map images to local file.
