Importing Track Logs from other Programs

GPS-Photo Link can import track logs from other sources, greatly increasing the number of GPS receivers that can be used with GPS Photo Link. In all cases, WGS-84 should be the datum used, and lat/lon should be the position format, not UTM.

Leica GPS

Import the observation files with extension "o00"

Trimble Pathfinder Office

ESRI ArcPad

Enable TrackLog. Use TrackLog.shp file as input.

FieldWorker

Export track logs to text file.

OziExplorer

Use the "Save Track to File" option.

Garmin MapSource

Use File | Export, then select "Text (Tab Delimited)".

Waypoint+

Use File | Save | Track, then select "Comma Delimited Text File"

Save as "Text File"

TDS Ranger with Solo CE Software

Export text files with lat/lon

NMEA Data

Save raw NMEA data, including NMEA sentences RMC, GGA, and HDG, to a text file.
