Instructions

The options on this screen allow you to manipulate what will be displayed on the processed photos as a watermark or “outside the photo” as a label underneath.

Click on the tabs relating to the types of output you wish to create. Make sure to check the Misc and Heading/Distance tabs for additional options. When you are done, click Finish to begin processing your photos.

Options:

• Font: The options on this screen allow you to manipulate what will be displayed on the processed photos as a watermark or “outside the photo” as a label underneath.
  • Name
    • Click on the font name to show the font selection dialog.
    • Scroll through the sections to select the font type and style (size is not used, see below)
  • Color
    • Click on the upper colored box to change the color for the text
  • Halo
    • Click on the Halo drop down menu to select either Halo, Shadow, or None.
    • Click on the lower colored box below to change the color of the halo and shadow.
  • Size
    • Click on the Size drop down menu to select Small, Medium, or Large watermark font.
    • The font size will be automatically adjusted based on the size of the original photo.
• Show outside of photo area - Rather than placing the information on the photo, this option creates a text box above or below the photo for the information.
  
• Items Shown and Placement: You may choose to include any of the following items on the watermarked photo. For each item you include, you must select the placement of that item on the photo. Two lines at the top and two at the bottom of each photo are available.
  • Latitude
  • Longitude
  • Datum
  • Elevation
  • Date
  • Time
  • Title
  • Comment
  • File Name
  • Photo Seq #
  • Logo 1
  • Logo 2
  • Memo (1 - 5) For use with Ricoh camera

• Hints to Placement
• If both are set to the same location (Top1 -Top1 , or Bottom1-Bottom1), the watermarks will be listed next to each other.
• If you choose to include your logo (up to two), you must indicate the location of that file on your computer. GPS-Photo Link will import the logo “as is”. GPS-Photo Link will import the logo “as is”, so you will need to make sure the size of the logo is appropriate before importing it. You may then adjust the logo to be more transparent if desired.
• Resize Photo: you may choose to resize the photo and determine the quality for the watermarked photo.
