Sample GPS Photos - GPS-PHOTO LINK OUTPUT

A GPS-Photo Link user took photos with a Ricoh 500SE GPS camera after a flood to document the damage for FEMA. We then used GPS-Photo Link: GIS Pro Edition to process the geotagged photos. Below are different types of output created by GPS-Photo Link.

Watermarked Photo

Web pages: See an overview map along with several linked photos and their maps. Note the attribute data at the bottom of the screen under each photo.

Google Earth file: Click here to launch Google Earth and show these gps photos. Make sure you have already downloaded the Google Earth viewer.

Use Trial Version with Sample Data: Download these images taken in Denver with the Ricoh 500SE camera and use it with your trial version of the software.

Instructions for using sample data: First, create a new folder on your hard drive and copy the files in this folder to your new folder.  Make sure you write down and remember the path that you create for the new folder.  Once you have downloaded the trial software run GPS-Photo Link. On the first screen select "Any Folder" for the Photo Source. Next browse to the folder you created. The second screen will ask where the GPS data comes from. For this sample select "Use GPS data in Photo or Manually enter lat/lon". Continue stepping through GPS-Photo Link making sure to select the types of output you want. Use the Help button on the left if needed.
